The radio station was called 93 FM.

I was right at the coal face, learning business, understanding different types of problems they all had, and creating solutions to help my client's make more sales for their  business.

 

It was a steep learning curve for sure and I learned a lot.

 

Within 2 years I was running a sales team on a much bigger media company.

Media companies are like airlines, they only have a certain amount of seats to sell.

 

Once the plane lifts off, the vacant seat  beside you cannot be sold.

 

Same with your favourite radio station, they only have a certain amount of advertising time to sell. 

 

If they sell to much advertising the listeners tune out.
